Today, the puppies came to campus and it was so cute!! I helped move them into the building because there's 4 of them and they ran away from Linda and Randy when they were loading them into the van. They are getting soooooo big!! They're also so cute and cuddly! I had Chester for this little adventure and he was so cute!! Their names are Dani, Darby, Chester, and Charlie! I couldn't tell you who is who on the picture except that Dani is all the way to the right. The reason that the the puppies came to campus though, was because we were learning how to assess puppies yesterday. We watched videos of Tori, Coco, and Sheamus at two years. We looked at how they interacted with a stranger and how they reacted to strange noises and other stressful situations. PawPADs uses a system called CARAT that was developed by Suzanne Clothier. She also wrote the book "Bones Would Rain from the Sky: Deepening Our Relationships with Dogs" which was the book that got Linda interested in the Assistance Dog Industry and started this whole ball rolling. After that, we then did assessments on all of the puppies and one of the older dogs (Sully) just so that we could see them and compare between all of the dogs. While we were watching the videos, Ganther decided to sit in my lap and watch the video with me, he's so cute sometimes. When I took Ganther home, he played with his brother Grady for a long time and they played really hard, which was good because they slept for a long time!
